WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Treatment can be discussed to address the appearance of fine lines on face and neck.

IS THERE ANY DOWN TIME?

Yes, we suggest avoiding touching the face for at least 4 hours after treatment. You should avoid strenuous exercise, spas and saunas for at least 2 days after treatment.

* SKINCEUTICALS | WHAT IS A CHEMICAL PEEL?

Chemical peel is a type of fruit acid which is applied to your face. Chemical peels can affect two layers of the skin, the epidermis and the dermis. The epidermis is the visible outer layer, and the dermis sits just beneath. The acid removes a uniform amount of damaged skin cells across the treatment area i.e. exfoliates

WHAT IS A CHEMICAL PEEL USED FOR?

Chemical peels can smooth out fine wrinkles, sun damaged skin, minor pigmentation, minor acne scars, freckles, melasma.

IS THERE ANY DOWN TIME? Usually none. For medium depth peels, skin can remain red for up to 2 days and then can scale/peel for a few days. Strict sun protection is advised. You can use mineral makeup soon after a peel. You may need 3-4 peels 4-6 weeks apart to achieve the desired result.

WHO CAN'T HAVE IT?

Pregnant or breastfeeding people. People with active acne, cold sores.

* DERMAPEN | WHAT IS MICRO-NEEDLING?

WHAT IS DERMAPEN | MICRO-NEEDLING? 

A specialised pen is used to prick the skin with microneedles. This causes microtrauma to the skin, triggering new collagen production to improve skin tone, texture and quality. It hydrates and plumps the skin giving it a fresh look. 

WHAT IS MICRO NEEDLING USED FOR? 

Micro-needling is very effective for conditions like acne scarring, black heads, open pores, fine lines, hyperpigmentation, sun damaged skin, uneven skin tone. It enhances absorption of skin care products. 

IS THERE ANY DOWN TIME? 

Skin may remain red and sensitive for up to 48 hours. Strict sun protection is advised. Recommended you avoid strenuous exercise for at least 7 days after. Some redness, swelling, bruising are expected. 

WHO CAN'T HAVE IT? 

Pregnant or breastfeeding people, or people having clotting/bleeding disorders. Contraindications include active acne, active cold sores, active rosacea, any infection on face.

* HOW LONG DO TREATMENTS TAKE? 

Depending on the area being done, all treatments take between 20 - 45 minutes.
